Look at how different we are yet as of Monday we weight the same amount! Strange isn't it? I guess that's why Kaze had to go to the VET about her weight. I'm good though!

Thinking Blogger Awards

Nicky, Kaia, and Stella nominated me for the Thinking Blogger awards!

Here are the rules

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog). That was that! Please, remember to tag blogs with real merits, i.e. relative content, and above all - blogs that really get you thinking!

1. Cheysuli Not just because she's my beautiful bride to be (Remember next Saturday May 5th is the big day!! Hope you all are coming!) but because she truly should be the next President. She's smart and savvy and opinionated. She cares so much about all cats and she's always sharing her knowledge on politics and cat related things so we are all better educated.

2. Tara Is well on her way to her MeezD. Her mom is a super smart lady and you can learn so much about plants and flowers and good smelling/tasty/pretty plants at her site. She also has a Mountain House so she gets to travel and tells us all about her travels. AND she's still a kitten! I can't wait to learn more from her as she gets older.

3. Skeezix I mean, how can you not think when you visit his site? That cat brings up topics I'd never imagined such as vishus deer and stroller rides. Without Skeezix we wouldn't be blogging, we wouldn't know about Temptations, we wouldn't have a stroller, we wouldn't have Kaze's favorite toy, basically we can't imagine our lives without Skeezix.

4. Diasy I know she's already been tagged but Daisy deserves it! She is a cat of so many talents like circus tricks and acting and stroller adventures. I've learned about lots of creatures named George and the darker side to nip as well as some technical medical things. She's such a great friend!

5. The Crew They were one of our first favorite blogs to visit and as they are a large cat family they have lots to share. They can tell you about furniture art and how to get out of trouble and how not fun it is when woofies come to visit.

Thank you Tara!

Tara (my adopted daughter) sent me a package this week! Inside were squillions of cans of Merrick stinky goodness which she decided she didn't like. I do!! I love them! But the best thing inside the package was one of her toys. It was her favorite toy and it smelled like her. I really like it a lot and I kept trying to carry it away and hide it for later but it kept bouncing away....Thank you Tara!!! While we are all enjoying the food (which thank goodness you sent us different varieties because Kaze is actually eating them!!!!) I am enjoying your toy. Sigh...it makes me think of you and purr.

Tummy Tuesday!

Yeah sure....Kaze's loosing weight. That's why she attacking me constantly..... I mean, look at her claws digging into my tummy! My tummy is soft and tender and she's just clawing away at it. Meowmy says I need to be nice to her because she's loosing weight. So now she gets extra stinky goodness and even baby food! I mean, baby food? How fair is that? Not very!!!

I'm back & Meezer Monday!

Hey everycat!!! I'm soooooooooooo happy to be back. I missed everyone's blogs so much and I promise to catch up today with all that is going on. Meowmy brought us back some "schwag" and I'll have to show you pictures of this cool frog thing that sticks its tongue out at you!

Meowmy missed me so much I got to go out on my harness both days this weekend! Grandma came over and she watched me outside for a bit. At one point I pounced hard and fast and Meowmy thought it was cute. That is of course until she saw it was a bee I was pouncing on. She yelled at me to remember what happened to Tara and said it must be a meezer thing.

The only downside to the weekend was I got that flea crap put on my shoulders. Meomwy said since its really Spring and I keep going outside on my harness its better to be safe than sorry.

I want Meowmy to come home!

This is getting bad. So she was home last night and said she was sorry but she wouldn't be home tonight. You know what that means? That means no warm snuggling, no petting, no zoom grooming, and worst of all......psycho Kaze. That's right, she's p*$$ed that Meowmy is not around and she's taking it out on me. Usually she only tackles Chase like this but.....now apparently its my turn.

Example 1: I was resting peacefully and then she attacked.

Example 2: Here I was thinking about Chey wearing my shirt and she called me a bad name and jumped me.

I blame Mao. He's corrupting her. I hope she doesn't go to prison for assault or something.

Wedding Wednesday

I don't love wearing clothes but I do love my "I luv Cheysuli" t-shirt. Since its getting close to the wedding I've been trying on my tux and getting everything ready to go to Disney World. I'm very very excited for the wedding and while I won't be living with my incredbily beautiful, super smart, and just plain fabulous wife I can't wait to party with her for the time we will have. Its going to be hard being the husband of a Presidential Candidate but I know I'm up for the task. Chey is going to be very very busy but I'll be here for whatever she needs.

(I'm super sorry I can't visit all of my friends but the Lap Lady is just not around to help me out. I'm going to catch up this weekend on everyone's posts!)

Out of Doors Adventure

This was Saturday. By Monday morning we had a roof leak and 2" of water in the dungeon. The People are not happy campers on their way to Atlantic City.....

Meezer Monday

I'd like to say Kaze is giving me a hug here but I think you all know the truth. I shouldn't be showing Kaze on Meezer Monday because she is not a meezer. There are certainly meezers who are her color but she is an Oriental Shorthair which is a completely different breed. Her mom was black and her dad was a tabby! Of course they both had large ears and were freakishly long and skinny. Orientals were bred from meezers and other cats to get interesting coat colors. There are so many Ori colors! Basically, take any coat color you want and put frootbat ears on it.

Enough about Kaze! I am a meezer through and through! Speaking of meezers, my Cousin Zao is visiting us from Thailand Kaze brought him here on Friday and he seems to be hanging out with her a lot. I've been told that if the authorities call to tell them that I know nothing. That's cool because I'm a bit confused much of the time.

Oh, we will all be around today but for the rest of the week our posting may be spotty. We'll try to keep up with everyone but Meowmy and the Chip Man will be working at a booth in Atlantic City so they won't be near a computer at all. We'll be back to normal next Meezer Monday!

I think I need some of this....

I hate to admit it but I think I have a little bit of a dander problem. You know how I like my bum scritches? Well it tends to get my dander up and then I have the most embarassing flakes. I want to make sure that I'm flake free for the the wedding which is in a few weeks (May 5th). This is so embarassing, the only reason I'm putting it out there is because I figure some of you might have some good advice? I'm getting brushed everyday and I eat a very high fat food so my fur is really silky.

Scritches are nice!

Here is my best "Please scritch my bum" look. I love the new couch cushions they are really nice to lie on. Since the new couch makes me so affectionate I've found I like to be scritched while sitting on it.

Ahh...that's the spot! I love a good scritching and especially on my bum. I've got the dander thing going on so Meowmy is really trying to groom me with the Zoom Groom. its so great!!!! I'll have to show you what it looks like sometime. There was another picture but it really showed off my butt hole so I decided I'd use the one that my tail is more in the way. Meowmy has figured out that I don't like to be approached from the front but if she approaches me from behind I don't really mind so much.

The new Couch!

We fought long and hard about who got to introduce the new couch and loveseat and I won! Mostly because I found myself in most of the pictures.

First we had to sniff it all over.

Then we had to investigate the loveseat. I was talking to Kaze the whole time we were inspecting it making sure she was OK. You can see me yelling at her here.

This is one of the BEST parts! There is a chute behind the couch and it has plenty of room for us to run behind!

My other favorite parts are the "meezer tuffet" which is a big pillow. The seats are very nice and wide so I can snuggle with Kaze and Meowmy at the same time. We all love how it matches our furs.

Meezer Monday

I don't know what is wrong with me but I'm having a serious problem. I've started snuggling in the *gulp* Lap Lady's lap. I know, I just called her what Kaze calls her!! But its true, she has a GREAT lap and its extra good when Kaze is there too. I can't believe I'm admitting this but since the new couch has been here I'm always snuggling and *gasp* purring! Something is wrong with me, I think I need to go to the VET. This is NOT who I am. I don't want to be touched, I don't want to purr, I don't make blinky eyes at Meowmy. But suddenly the meezer couch arrived (it is brown) and I have tuffets on the arms and its such a wide seat there is so much room to snuggle. I'm so snuggly Meowmy actually thought there was only one cat in her lap.

Do you think I need medication? Is something seriously wrong with me. Could I have Mad Cow disease or something? Mad Cows sound really scarry but I must be mad because this is NOT who I am!

Head Tilt

This time last year I was just recovering from my femur infection and my head started to tilt to one side. The People noticed that I was carying my head funny while I was sitting and walking. I was very dizzy and kind of woozy feeling. After a week or so of me looking like this, Meowmy called the VET.

She was very busy that week as she and the Tall Man were in charge of a booth in Atlantic City at the Atlantic Builders Convention. They HAD to be there, they couldn't not go. One of the VET's (not Dr. Ian) was very worried about the tilt and wanted to come in early so that Meowmy could get me there. It didn't work out but she got me there on Monday bright and early. He started a treatment of ear drops thinking it might be an ear infection. It should have gotten better but didn't.

As usual, Dr. Ian came to my rescue and called Meowmy when he found out. He wanted me to come in for a neurological exam. I went in and he did all sorts of tests like making me grab for the table, walking, looking into my eyes, etc. The funniest thing he did was spin in a circle with me in both directions. It is supposed to show your reaction and how dizzy you are. Dr. Ian is a GIANT and he was funny to watch spin around with me.

He said an MRI would be the next diagnostic tool but after everything I'd just been through, he didn't want to do that yet. Instead he started me on the treatment of a protozoal spinal infection. You know what? I started to get better! My tilt went away and now I'm great!

Now you know why I love Dr. Ian. This was actually more life threatening than my femur infection though that was more painful. He saved my life twice and he just knows me. He always kisses me and says how adorable I am. Dr. Ian goes the extra mile and I trust him completely.

I hope you all have a lovely Passover or Easter!

Balance Meme

I'm tagging myself :)

To participate, write a post about balance in life and link back to this post. Answer any or all of the following questions or simply share your thoughts about life balance.

How do you achieve balance in your life?
Well if I'm upset about something I tend to spread out my frustration on others. Like if I want to play, others should be playing even if it is 3 am. Also, if I'm annoyed with cat or person I feel I need to spread my feelings so everyone else feels the same way and we're all balanced.

What is your biggest challenge in balancing your life?
I'm going to have to say my head tilt last year. I was really dizzy and I couldn't keep my balance. I'll be talking about that some time soon.

What are your priorities?
Sleeping...eating....playing....outside adventures. But my main priority is not being touched.

How have your priorities changed over time and why?
When I was a lot younger I used to like to be touched and even snuggle under the covers. Then I stopped liking touching. I think it was because of all of my poking and proading from the VET's when I was sick last year.

What advice can you share to help all of us balance our own lives?
Enjoy good sunspots, you never know when the clouds will come out.

I tagged myself so go ahead and tag yourself if you haven't already done it!

My birdwatching bench!

Here is my bird watching bench. OK, so we all use it but I look the cutest sitting on it. It has blankets on the back to protect it from our claws. Last night.....it got moved!!! I hear we are getting new furniture but I don't like that idea because I like my bench. It has to fit somewhere and if its not below a window I don't know what I'm going to do!!!

Meezer Monday

What a weekend! The guests were OK, they liked to watch us play so I got a ton of Whirly Bird time in. Of course everyone thought I was tiny and cute. The worst thing was they were in the Cat Room so I tried to get in there a lot and I couldn't. That was uncool.

I got to go outside on the harness on Sunday and I walked around on the grass, it was nice. I only spent 10 minutes out there because it wasn't really that warm.

Well, I should go as the guests are still here.....
