When stalking your prey stay very very quiet. For flying prey you might have to wait for it to swoop closer to you or enlist the help of either siblings or humans. I find the properly trained human can help lift you to assist in your hunting. This fly did meet its demise later in the day when Kaze helped me corner it.

The problem with enlisting human for bug hunting is she want to put spray on it, and that ruins it's taste. Besides, hissing makes me think Snake in room.

Speedy and I always team up fur fly hunting...mom sometimes helps us by closing da door to what ever room da fly is in so it doesn't haf as many places to escape. Speedy always lets me eat dem. He's a good brofur.~Sadie
Also patience and co-operation pays off.You did good.
Using siblings to help with the hunt is a good meezer rule. We find that when we work together we can have a successful hunt. It's the sharing after the catch that becomes a problem.

Yep, great hunting tips Latte. That's why me and Gree used to hunt together all the time when we lived outside. One to rustle up the prey and the other to catch it.
