What a perfectly gorgeous weekend! Not a cloud in the sky and the temperatures were in the 70's as our leaves have just started to really change in droves. Meowmy took me out to check out the leaves and it was so wonderful. I have lots of pictures from my adventure but since this is Monday I tried to pick the one that showed off my blue eyes best.
Sunday the Chip Man convinced Meowmy to just let me out on the deck without my harness for a bit. Hahaha! I took off for the steps and tried to run away. Hahahah!!! Sadly Meowmy grabbed me. I guess that's why she followed me with her hand hovering over my scruff. Dang. I really wish I could be an outdoor kitty. And now I'm completely banished to only going out on the harness or in the stroller or while I'm held.

Beautiful eyes! A piece of advice. Mom lets me and Kavan out in our backyard all the time without our leads on (but we both have our harnesses on). We get to explore and have a good time, but as soon as one of us even thinks of going up a tree of fence, Mom says "NO!". And if we do, we get put inside for a timeout. So, both of us have gotten pretty good at listening to Mom.....

Lovely harness Latte! Yesterday I was allowed for the first time on the balcony to enjoy the last draft of warm air of the year! I was tied up in a quasi-harness (I don't have my own yet because I was too small) even though I was all closed in and couldn't possibly escape! So I understand your lack of freedom :(

Excellent mancat pose! Good job on trying to run. Bummer about being grabbed. I ran out the door yesterday when the computer guys were leaving, but Mom grabbed me real fast. Grrr

Latte, my brave mancat, I can see why your humans would worry about loosing you. Imagine what I would say to them if you succeeded in getting yourself lost even for a moment?!

Latte, you should not have tried to run away like that! Because you could maybe get lost or something. Anyway, you look very handsome in your harness and leash.
Our Mommy tried to take Captain Jack out on a harness once - let's just say that pirate kitties do not like being tied to anything so the claws came out and into mommy's arm!
At least you still get to go out! Meowm hasn't let me out since I slipped the leash and disappeared for 2 hours several months ago. I really gotta convince here to get a stroller!!!
ahahaha well, maybe your humans will learn that if they treat you exactly how you wish at all times, you won't try to run away!!

My mom hasn't been letting me out as much as I would like, and I'm very grumpy. But it looks like you had a great time! I love this time of year, it's great for chasing leaves and watching the migrating birds at the feeders.
That is quite the harness you've got on there. I really like it. I do have one, but it is really skinny.
