Meezer Rule Wednesday

You must always follow sun spots as they move. Keeping your fur warm is very important so that your fur doesn't darken. You do know that meezer fur gets darker as its colder and as we age? Staying warm keeps your fur lighter.

Wow, I didn't know that. I am not a meezer, but I get darker and darker as I get older. I was a very pale blonde color when I was a kitten. Now, I have some faint stripes and I have gotten several shades darker. My tail is so dark, it doesn't even look like it belongs to me.

I think you look lovely in the sun. That's a wonderful color for that chair behind you too. Your humans have wonderful taste decorating to match you dear.

That must be why I am getting darker, I don't like getting too hot. Kavan, on the other hand, loves those sunbeams.

We didn't know that! We'll be checking our tails from now on to see if we can be honorary meezers!

Yes I can see why you must keep yourself warm now, or people might be silly enough to think you were a Burmese if you went all dark! ;)

Wow - I learned something new today!

Very smart of you, Latte! My Mommie used to have a meezer named Cricket, and when he got older his furs got very dark.

Latte, that's a really great rule!!

I didn't know that about meezers. Momma wishes that trick worked for human hair. Hers was really blonde as a kid and now it's getting darker. It would be pretty funny if we had to share our sunspots with Momma. hee hee

Love,
Tazo

My servants also tell me that if I get a big belly it will get dark because fat is cold or something. It is already getting very cold at home so maybe in the winter I will turn more gray! Good thing my servants think Burmese are cute!

I did know that Latte (aren't I clever, hehe) and I'm very glad that you keep this rule and that you've published it. William was a chocolate (champagne in Mericky) Burmese and he had darker points so apart from his chunkier body shape, he could have passed for a meezer:) xxx
