Meezer Monday

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what is wrong with me but I'm having a serious problem. I've started snuggling in the *gulp* Lap Lady's lap. I know, I just called her what Kaze calls her!! But its true, she has a GREAT lap and its extra good when Kaze is there too. I can't believe I'm admitting this but since the new couch has been here I'm always snuggling and *gasp* purring! Something is wrong with me, I think I need to go to the VET. This is NOT who I am. I don't want to be touched, I don't want to purr, I don't make blinky eyes at Meowmy. But suddenly the meezer couch arrived (it is brown) and I have tuffets on the arms and its such a wide seat there is so much room to snuggle. I'm so snuggly Meowmy actually thought there was only one cat in her lap.

Do you think I need medication? Is something seriously wrong with me. Could I have Mad Cow disease or something? Mad Cows sound really scarry but I must be mad because this is NOT who I am!

Latte, you are becoming a softy! How sweet. It's ok to become more affectionate. It probably makes your Mom happy!

Awww, Latte. There's nothing wrong with being snuggly. It's actually pretty nice. Maybe you always were a snuggler at heart, but it took the new couch to bring out this quality in you?

I say just enjoy it and don't stress! :)

Purrs.

Every now and then we just do something totally outrageous. I do not get it. I have also snuggled for about 2 minutes... maybe 4... with my mommie. I thought maybe I was developing dementia... hmmmm maybe it is some chemical in the Temptations... hope not.

I think you are faking innocence. I am sure this is all part of a cunning meezer plan!

Cheysuli said she hopes you feel better. She said she is rather snuggly sometimes too but that it can always pass.

Latte, I think that it is very sweet that you have started snuggly and purring! :) Laps are wonderful places to snuggle, and you've just discovered how wonderful it is. :)

Oh Latte, that is fantastic that you are getting snuggly! Snuggling is the very best thing in the world.

There's really nothing that I can add at this point except this...Laps are warm, make you feel better and happy. They let you know you're loved by your human pet! I can't purr, but if I could, I'd purr up a storm and be happy to do it. So indulge! You've just discovered something wonderful!

Love from your friend, Oscar!

We bet you made your Lady so happy that you were actually snuggling...and purring!!! China Cat always snuggles on our Lady's lap but I only snuggle on her legs in bed. Especially since it's cold here now!

Don't worry, snuggling is fun and rewarding. You might get more temptations now that you are getting snuggly.

I bet there is something about the couch that has brought out the snuggle puss in you. The bed here in out mountain house does the same to me. I bet it made your mom really happy, cause it does mine too.

Latte, you're doing a good job wif the fake snuggling - it's all part of lulling the beans into a false sense of sekurity so when Total Werld Dom-a-nay-shun happens, they will not haf seen it coming

Well, da great thing about being a meezer is you can change yer mind at anytime! Sometimes I'm snuggle, sometimes I'm not - it's da meezer way.

hmmm...lots of cats seem to be acting strangely lately. Grumpybutt has actually been snuggling (an little) during the day with my OTW!!!

I hope it's just the spring, and not a vishus deer plot!

I think it's great that you are snuggling with the Lap Lady. It gives me hope that I will brave enough to start doing that one day!

If you snuggle and purr, the Lap Lady will be happy. Then, if you stop, she'll try to get you to do it again. This usually involves extra treats and toys. Keep doing it just enough to get those extra treats and toys, but not so much that she takes it for granted.
