According to the Chip Man its time for me to be "more snuggly". This is bad...very very bad. You know what this means? It means that any time someone walks past me I get picked up. Then I get hugged, and worse- I get kissed! No matter how much I scream out in absolute agony they keep on doing it. In fact, they trade me back and forth and actually laugh at me. I feel that this is a very clear instance of cat abuse and I think I should call my local Union Rep. Do we have a union? In any case I think I should sue for me emancipation so I can get the heck out of Dodge.
And no it doesn't matter to me that both Kaze & Chase like hugs and kisses- they're just plain crazy. In fact I think the humans are putting something in the water (hence the reason I drink from the faucet).
What's that...you have bacon? Well OK, I guess I can look cute and let you touch me for a minute. Oh, and you have the Zoom Groom? I suppose I could relax and purr for a nice back scratching.
They TORTURE me I tell you. Maybe Jack Bauer can bust me out?

Latte--that's horrible that your humans are torturing you! I have been threatened with that but I think if you stick to your guns, eventually they'll calm down and stop it.
Until, then why don't you come visit?

What is it with men? My Dad said the same thing a few weeks ago, and went on a campaign of putting me on his lap whenever he could. I hated it!
But then both Mom and Dad ignored me for a day, and now I do go asking to be picked up and snuggled more often.

I'll send you a furball since I've got extras. Everytime you see a bean coming at you, pull out the furball and shove it directly in line between you and the bean. It seems to work everytime to deflect their attention.
oh dearest! I believe you when you say they torture you when they pick you up. I hate being picked up myself...so I loudly protest while being held in their arms.
I don't want their cooing, or their "good girl!", or their "it's ok". On the other hand, I could be persuaded to do almost anything for a treat.....
Latte, I have taken the libery of reporting your humans to the ASPCM (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Meezers.) They will soon investigate this incident of torture, and you will no longer be subjected to these GuantanaMeezermo Bay conditions.
But personally, my human can torture me with hugs & kisses any time she wants! Guess I'm just a masochist.

Oh, poor Latte! I sympathize completely. My woman insists on picking me up sometimes, even though I holler and growl and hiss. I get very, very stiff, too. Some cats are just NOT for picking up and that's all there is to it. Maybe I'll say something to Chase about it; Victor runs up and bugs Mom when she picks me up. Like he's watching a show. Purrs!
