Hi everyone, Snap asked if she could use my blog today and I said sure. The only interesting that happend to me was Meowmy SLAMED into my head on the stairs last night. It hurted. But I'm OK. Here's Snap!
(sound of munching hay)
First of all I think I should have at least one day a week where I get to blog. After all, I'm the biggest one in this family and I've never even met these cats that let me share their blogs. In my eyes I'm the most important creature for the Mom.
So the Mom came out to ride me last night and got all of my stuff on including my brand new custom saddle. Hehe, that was fun to make her spend the green papers on my back. Anyway, she got that stuff on me and then put the bit in my mouth. OOOOWWWWIIIIIEEEEEE NO!!! I threw my head back and wouldn't open my mouth. It hurt. She shoved the bit in (I don't know why she never listens the first time) and then I wouldn't let her take it out. I didn't want to move my mouth at all it hurt so badly.
Then the talkative crazy lady came over and grabbed my tongue. Right out of my mouth! She shoved her hand in my mouth and felt all around and it was ouchy so I accidentally had to bite her. I have BIG teeth. She didn't think anything was wrong but boy she can TALK. Eventually she left.
Then the Mom touched my cheeks and found that one side was swollen and my lips were really puckered on the one corner. She put me in my stall and stood there with me. I was in a lot of pain so I didn't want to eat any hay. In fact I pawed at it and turned in circles and banged my head on the wall. I kept walking over to the Mom telling her things were NOT OK and she eventually freaked out enough. She called the Caretaker (who was at home) and just about called the VET (BIG green papers for emergency horse calls). Luckily she called the Dad and he talked to her for a while while I started to finally eat my hay. And poop. I should mention that humans have an obsession with equine poop. But that's a topic for another day....
Anyhow, the Mom spent 1.5 hours just staring at me. She finally found a hard lump at the corner of my mouth that was getting bigger. And bigger. She tried to put an ice pack on my face!! The horrors! I mean, I can't even handle her touching me (unless its a kiss, I can always take kisses...I loff them) so how was she going to put ice on my face?? So that didn't work.
I'm half expecting her to come back in the middle of the night. I'm sure the Caretaker Woman is going to poke and prod and probably take my temperature (also up my booty but its the same size as a cat thermometer so I don't really feel it). Its all very odd apparently. But that's me. I'm odd. And sensitive. Hence the reason Latte let me borrow his blog.

Neigh!
Hey everycat, this is Snap the horse making an appearance on Latte's blog for the first time. You might remember me from Kaze's blog. Anyhow, I'm the horse in the family. Latte's wife Chey tagged either him or me for the meme and I'm MUCH more important than him (and I think he already did it).
The guidelines for this tag:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules
2. Write some facts about yourself: some random, some weird, some just plain fun.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them)
4. Let those 7 people know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.
The challenge is to keep it interesting without making the reader think “Um, too much information…”
So Seven things about me…
1. I used to be a racehorse. I ran in 4 races and the best I ever did was 4th place in my first race. I hate to run. I let a pony beat me in a race over the weekend.
2. Please don't touch me. I will snap at the air! But if you're going to rub my face/ears/chest that's OK. Also, I am a treat *insert bad word* and will do ANYTHING for food.
3. I like to drink coffee. I really do. My captor puts it in her top and I lap it up. I really enjoy all human food though and apples might be my favorite.
4. I wear high heels. My shoes are made from aluminum and they are a wedge so my heel is higher than my toe.
5. My tail is two colors. Chestnut (red) half way down and the bottom is black. My mane is mostly chestnut with flaxen (blond) highlights.
6. If I trip or mess up while being ridden I blame the Captor. Its all her fault anyway, I'm perfect. I put my ears back, toss my head to the side, swish my tail, and threated to buck. I am perfect, she is nothing.
7. I am the most nick-named horse in the barn. Some highlights.....Cow, Bessie-Snap, Snap-trap, Hooch, Snapple, Snappy, and some really nasty bad words I can't share. Of course they are all in fun as I'm also the most trusted mare in the barn. I show my dominance but I protect the humans that care for me.
If there were other blogging horses I'd tag them. But there aren't.

Friskification
I have been friskified! I caught the frisky bug and I'm running and leaping and attacking and bunny kicking and pouncing!!! Meowmy says I'm hyperactive. I do like to be active!!! There are toys to be played with and Kaze's to take down. Plus I have to keep practicing my sprints. You never know when it will be usefull to jump 5' straight out from a stand still onto the landing of the stairs.
Kaze's been my main target and I get applauded when I take her down. Usually she picks on Chase because when she picks on me I'm too smart for her attacks. I always raise one paw an flatten my ears down while standing pretty tall. She cowers to the ground with her ears back like she's going to make a belly attack. Little does she know that from my stance I can get HER belly. And I do. And I win. Because I'm me- the House Hunter.
Happy frisky day friends!!! I won't be around commenting today because Snappy has a VET coming out to look at her since she's been lame for a month now on and off. At least the VET man comes to her so she doesn't have to leave her house.

Tired Thursday!

I've been so busy watching the Robins outside the window that I've been exhausted! I also was very busy waking Meowmy up by pawing at her at 5am so I really need my sleep now. She's started doing that thing she does where she gets up early and goes to that place where she comes back smelling like sweat and disinfectant. I don't like it but its nice to see her up earlier. But still.....its the Robins who are keeping me up the most. I'm convinced one is going to come through the window and I'll be able to catch it!
Thanks for the purrs for Snap. She is doing so much better and went for a gallop with Meowmy out in the field last night. She used to be a race horse so she's pretty fast. Meowmy was smiling.
My future wife Cheysuli tagged me for a meme!
Five Reasons Why I Blog:
1. I need to express to the world my inner feelings because I don't talk too much. I find writting much easier!
2. I like to have a record of my life and times and especially pictures of me doing my thing.
3. I love love love my friends I've met while blogging. It gives me such a great perspective on the whole world!
4. OK, without helping me blog Meowmy would be bored stiff at work all day long.
5. I love learning new things about my blogging friends. For one thing I get great ideas on things like strollers and Temptations and Whirly-Birds. All of those things would not be in my life without blogging.
So, now I need to tag 5 others.

Sometimes the smallest cat packs the biggest punch
I was running around playing last night when I flew off the final landing of the stairs and landed right on Meomwy's foot. I mean I LANDED! I admit I was moving quickly and flying fast. She screamed so loud that I got really scared and hid under the table. The Chip Man yelled at her for yelling. Apparently one of my hind claws went into her foot and now its all swollen and hurty. She can't believe that the smallest cat in the house caused so much pain. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to hurt her but I didn't expect her to be there! Later I went up and sat next to her on the couch and I rested my chin on her leg. She thought it was adorable so I guess she isn't mad.
In other news if you could spare a few purrs for our horsie Snap I'd really appreciate it. She just had her spring shots and she had a similar bad reaction like I have to shots. She was lying down and in pain and her neck is all swollen. The horse VET said she'll be OK, she just needs some horse asprin and hot compresses on her neck. Her neck is all twitchy and she kept resting her head on Meowmy when she was compressing her.

The odd smells are back!!!

This is Meowmy doing what she loves (they are flying in the air!). This is our horse, her name is Make it Snappy but we call her Snap. She's a cranky *female dog*. Meowmy calls her that a lot. She's a chestnutthoroughbredmare (she says that like its a BAD word) who is 6 years old and she used to be a racehorse. Snap and Meowmy usually work every night after she comes home from her day job. That means that Meowmy doesn't get home until at least 8:30PM. In the winter we have lots more Meowmy time because she doesn't go out to work with Snap as much.
Tonight Meowmy started smelling weird again. I sniffed and sniffed and tail twitched and sniffed some more. I was having trouble figuring out why she was sitting on the floor (she doesn't like getting the couch "horsey") and then I rememberd what all of those smells mean! It smells like hay and grain and dust and HORSE!!
I like when Meowmy rides because she gets happy and excited and she's much more fun to be around. That is when she has a good ride....the bad rides make her crabby. Anyway, its been 4 weeks since she's ridden and she was so much more relaxed tonight. I guess Snappy loves Meowmy too as she hugs her with her head (I'm not sure how that works...kind of like a head butt? But wouldn't that mean she knocked Meomwy over???) I'm glad Snappy loves Meowmy and takes good care of her because she could really hurt her if she wanted to. Yeah for Snappy!
Oh, and she's a Vishus Deer Repelent! She's stood up to big deer and protected Meowmy.
