This is the face of a happy little meezer. I have had a lovely weekend in the sun. Meowmy brought down some WEIRD stuff from the attic that smells like snow. She tried on these funky boots that make her walk weird. That reminds me....shoes in general. Why do humans put things on their back paws?? Don't they have paw pads? Its never made sense to me. I get they wear clothes to be fashionable (well, with the Toy Man that's highly debatable) but the shoes thing I just don't get. So anyhow, these weird boots click in to these huge long stick things! Humans....can't live with 'em, but they seem to think we need them.

Meezer Monday

The weird stick things are okay. I hate the sound of the pants my human wears when she goes off with her click in books and the sticks.
No Latte, humans don't have paw pads - perhaps we would be better off if we did, specially on Brighton beach, which is all pebbles, heh heh! Anyhow, I hope your Meowmy enjoyed her skiing and didn't break a leg:) xxx

Glad to hear you had some sun to enjoy on the weekend, Latte. As for humans, they are very weird.
Latte the answer to why do they need shoes is all down to cats like my housemate Tigmut'hep! He's shoe mad and is quite sure they have them specially so that he gets to play with them and sniff them! :S Not my idea of fun! ;)
Hmmm, sounds like she's goin' skiin'. Our mombean tried that once and got too many ouwies to want to try it again.
Could we have a picture of these things people are calling skis? Meowm says she knows what they are, but she doesn't want any and I am curious about what they look like.
I don't know WHY they have to wear those things-I just know that when they step on US with those things it hurts WAAAY worse than if they just had their regular pads on!
our mommy just walks around on her bare feets pads in the house. she only wears those shoes things when she goes out - and then, only if it's snowing or she's going in the metal monster wif wheels.

My mommy wore fuzzy socks all weekend . . . and WOULD NOT let me chew them! That was irritating.
Good to know you had such a terrific weekend. Momma always wears these fuzzy fings on her feetzees, isn't it grate that we don't have to worry about stuff like that?

Mommy never wears shoes when she is home. But she has like a squillion pair! I ought to know because I have slept on most of them!

Hmmm, humans are weird. And shoes are definitely hurty when they step on your tail or toes. :( Momma does always warn us that she's wearing "stompy shoes."

Ma doesn't have any of those cool shoes. We know cause we inspect each and every pair in the closet.
