I don't know if any of you have a forbidden door that goes....well where exactly does that door go? One meezer finds out! (that would be me)
I've lived in my home for two years now and there has always been something that intrigued me. A door. What could be behind there? A room of temptations? Toys? I had to find out!
Meowmy took her ski boots upstairs and opened the forbidden door. She usually closes it right behind her but she had two boxes of ski boots and couldn't shut the door. She was up there a while and I decided it was time for me to explore.
I tentatively placed my paw on the first step. It was cold but nothing bad happened to me so I ventured on. Past some boxes on the steps I picked up some speed. Nothing scary so I might as well reach the top of the stairs quickly. At the top landing I faced a very frantic Meowmy. I flattened out and tried to find a place to hid but she was too fast and grabbed me. Darn it! I didn't even get to see the UP very much. I'll have to go back soon.

I don't have an UP in my house. Your house must be special.
Oh, we are sorry you didn't get to see the up for very long. We have an up, but it is just a little hole in the ceiling, and Mom never goes up there. Our Papa sometimes does but he has to get out the ladder to get up there.

Ohhhhh, you sound very lucky to have an UP. We don't have an up or a down. We only have an out and personally, I never want to see that place in person again. I can't imagine what it would be like to have an unexplored room in my house. The curiousity...report back to us Latte.
I have been UP many times because I am faster than the average bean here at the Yellow House.
Up is very strange, almost upside downish. There are many soft white fluffy clouds, but they are all on the floor.
Further study will be required.

Oh we've got a door you can't reach unless you climb the magic disappearing stairs! You're very brave to look what's hidden there, I'm scared I'd find a monster so I don't even try! ;)
We have one of those UP places, too. And we're not allowed to be in there. It's a total bummer that your Meowmy saw you and made you go back downstairs. Grrrr Did you see any temptations up there?

I don't have an up or down place either. I am kinda glad your Meowm caught you though....I would hate for you to get left in there!
I hear many kinds of critters sometimes live in the up. We don't have an up right now but there are still some of those forbidden doors that I constantly thrive to get past.

Junior's right. It could be bad if you got left in the Up and no one knew you were there.
Oh we have an Up, but you have to go up a scary ladder - only the kitties who went before were brave enough to try (well that and the fact that Mommy or Daddy always stand at the bottom of the ladder)!
I have a room like that also. Dad refuses to let us in there. I'm sure there are tons of toys and catnip, maybe even a cat tree to climb. Dad says we could get hurt if we go in there, but I don't agree. Maybe someday I will be as speedy as you. sigh...
We have a down in our house. We were never allowed there, but the plumber guy came over and I ran down! :-D
